Klaudia Zakrzewska, the influencer known online as Klaudiaglam, is fighting for her life in a London hospital after allegedly being run over by a rival creator. Now her mother has gone public with a GoFundMe, revealing that doctors don’t expect her to make it.
According to Dexerto, the incident took place on April 19 outside a London nightclub, when 29-year-old X Factor finalist Gabrielle Carrington, known online as RielleUK, allegedly drove her car onto the pavement and struck Zakrzewska. Two other people were also injured in the incident.
Zakrzewska’s mother, Kinga, shared a heartbreaking message through the GoFundMe campaign, which was amplified by influencer media page GRM Daily. “My daughter is currently in a coma and desperately fighting for her life. This is the most devastating time our family has ever faced,” she wrote. “Klaudia is in critical condition, and due to the severity of her injuries, doctors do not believe she will survive. But I truly believe her fight is not over! Klaudia is strong, and I know she still has a chance.”
What the GoFundMe money will be used for
Kinga was transparent about where the funds are going. She wrote that money is currently going toward legal fees, family support, and any additional treatment options that may be available. She also said if the situation worsens, additional funds would go toward funeral costs and ongoing family support.
“We want to continue exploring every possible treatment and form of care to keep Klaudia alive and as comfortable as possible. With your support, we can continue fighting for her,” Kinga added.
The campaign has a goal of £50,000. By the time Dexerto published its initial report, the family had raised just over £12,000, though the total had climbed past $19,000 as donations kept coming in. Klaudiaglam has over 250,000 Instagram followers, and the online community has been rallying heavily around the family since the news broke.
This isn’t the first time Kinga has spoken publicly about her daughter’s condition. Earlier in the week, she posted a message on her Instagram Stories asking followers to keep Klaudia in their prayers, saying: “She is my angel, my world, my everything, and she needs all the love, strength, and healing we can send her.”
What happened outside the London nightclub
According to court testimony covered by Dexerto, prosecutor Rizwan Amin told the court that CCTV footage showed Carrington returning to her car after an altercation involving multiple bystanders. The vehicle then “immediately moved off and sharply mounted the pavement,” striking Zakrzewska, who was dragged and dropped between the car and a metal bike rack.
Amin also told the court that Carrington ran over a 50-year-old security worker named Anoush Chyche, who sustained life-changing injuries, before reversing the vehicle. A third victim, Latisha Armstrong, suffered a fractured bone in her wrist.
Carrington is facing a serious list of charges: attempted murder, causing grievous bodily harm with intent, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, dangerous driving, and drunk driving. She appeared in court on April 21, reportedly making a heart sign to her family, and has been ordered held in custody until her next hearing on May 19.
The fundraiser comes as online creators and fans continue to share messages of support. A bride-to-be went viral recently for a completely different reason on social media, highlighting just how quickly stories capture public attention. The Klaudiaglam case is no exception, with thousands following every update since the April 19 incident first surfaced online. For those looking for another high-profile case involving online personalities and public fallout, the story of how ESPN handled the Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel situation shows how messy these situations can get.
