Our Standards

Editorial Policy

How we report, how we verify, and how we hold ourselves accountable.

Our Commitment

The Front Feed is committed to delivering accurate, fair, and independent reporting. Our editorial team operates with full independence from our business and advertising operations. We do not accept payment for coverage, and we never allow advertisers or partners to influence what we publish.

Sourcing & Fact-Checking

Accuracy is the foundation of everything we publish. Our editorial team follows strict sourcing and verification standards before any story goes live.

  • Multiple sources: We verify information using multiple credible sources whenever possible. Single-source stories are clearly identified as such.
  • Primary sources first: We prioritize official statements, public records, court documents, and firsthand accounts over secondhand reporting.
  • Attribution: We attribute all claims, quotes, and data to their sources. Readers should always know where our information comes from.
  • Anonymous sources: We use anonymous sources sparingly and only when the information is newsworthy and cannot be obtained on the record. The credibility of anonymous sources is verified by senior editorial staff.
  • Rumors and leaks: When covering unverified rumors or leaks, we clearly label them as such and seek comment from the parties involved before publication.

Editorial Independence

Our editorial decisions are made independently from our advertising, business development, and revenue operations. No advertiser, sponsor, or partner has any influence over what stories we cover, how we cover them, or what conclusions we draw.

  • Advertisers are never informed of stories before publication
  • Sponsored content is always clearly labeled and separated from editorial content
  • Our editorial team has sole authority over headlines, angles, and story selection
  • We do not accept payment in exchange for news coverage of any kind

Corrections & Updates

We take errors seriously. When we get something wrong, we fix it quickly and transparently.

  • Minor corrections: Typos, grammatical errors, and small factual clarifications are corrected in the article text without a separate notice.
  • Significant corrections: If an error materially affects the meaning or accuracy of an article, we add a visible correction note at the top of the article explaining what was changed and when.
  • Developing stories: Articles about developing stories are updated as new information becomes available. Updates are timestamped and noted within the article.
  • Content removal: We rarely remove published content. If an article is removed for legal or ethical reasons, an editor's note is placed at the original URL explaining why.

If you believe any of our reporting contains an error, please contact us at thefrontfeed.com/contact or email hello@thefrontfeed.com. We review all correction requests promptly.

Sponsored & Affiliate Content

Transparency with our readers is non-negotiable. We clearly distinguish between editorial content and any content that involves a commercial relationship.

  • Sponsored content is always labeled with a clear disclosure such as "Sponsored," "Paid Partnership," or "Presented by [Partner]" at the top of the article
  • Affiliate links are disclosed within the article. If we earn a commission from a product or service we mention, we tell you
  • Sponsored content is written or reviewed by our editorial team and is never sent to the sponsor for approval before publication
  • The presence of affiliate links or sponsorship never influences our editorial judgment, opinions, or coverage decisions

Use of AI Tools

We believe in being transparent about our use of technology in the editorial process.

  • AI tools may be used to assist with research, grammar checking, or generating initial drafts for non-news content such as guides or explainers
  • All content published on The Front Feed is reviewed, fact-checked, and edited by a human editor before publication
  • AI-generated images are not used in our news reporting without clear labeling
  • We do not publish fully AI-generated articles without substantial human editorial oversight and revision
Our standard: Every article on The Front Feed has a named human author who is responsible for its accuracy and editorial quality. AI is a tool in our workflow — not a replacement for journalism.

Plagiarism Policy

We have a zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism. All writers are expected to produce original work and properly attribute all sources, quotes, data, and ideas. When referencing reporting by other outlets, we credit them by name and, where possible, link to the original source.

Any instance of plagiarism is subject to immediate corrective action, which may include removal of the content and termination of the writer's relationship with The Front Feed.

Comments & Community Guidelines

We welcome thoughtful discussion on our articles. However, we reserve the right to moderate or remove comments that contain hate speech, personal attacks, spam, misinformation, or any content that violates applicable laws.

Comment moderation decisions are made by our editorial team. We do not edit the substance of comments — we either approve them or remove them.

Images & Media

We use images from licensed sources, public domain, official press materials, social media embeds, and original photography. All images are credited to their source when required. If you believe an image on our site infringes on your copyright, please contact us through our Contact page or refer to our DMCA policy for the takedown process.

Fairness & Balanced Reporting

We strive to present all sides of a story. When covering politically charged or controversial topics, we make every effort to include multiple perspectives and give subjects of critical coverage an opportunity to respond.

Opinion pieces and analysis are clearly labeled as such, and are kept separate from our straight news reporting. Our readers should always be able to distinguish between fact-based reporting and editorial commentary.
