A woman in a TikTok video shared a harrowing account of an alleged assault on her daughter, a recent college freshman. The video, posted by a user identified as @toribranumga, shows an emotional woman speaking from a car. On-screen text in the video reads, “My daughter just moved to college and had the most horrific DV experience. Please talk to your daughters.”
The woman in the video stated she woke up at 3 a.m. having an anxiety attack. She said her daughter, whom she described as a “sweet little 5-foot daughter, national championship cheerleader,” had just moved to college three weeks prior on a full-ride scholarship. The mother said she would not name her daughter or the alleged perpetrator, stating she was “praying that the DA and the legal system does what they need to do.”
She then recounted the alleged incident. The mother said her daughter was in a car with a male and his friends when the male, who she said was drunk, punched her daughter in the mouth. “Her tooth goes through her lip,” the mother claimed. She alleged he then “sticks his finger in the hole and proceeds to bash her head into the window of the car.” The mother said her daughter was “begging to get out,” but “his friends will not let her out.”
Mother alleges perpetrator’s parent concealed evidence and prevented calls for help
According to the mother’s account in the video, the group then went to the alleged perpetrator’s house. She claimed his mother “makes her change out of her bloody clothes, essentially concealing the evidence.” The mother further alleged that the woman “won’t give her her phone to call her dad or call 911” and “does not help her seek medical treatment.”
The speaker in the video explicitly stated the alleged perpetrator’s mother “held my child hostage in the house.” The mother said her daughter eventually managed to get her phone and called her father, meeting him at a gas station. She described the father as a “combat veteran” who was “completely blacked out, and in a rage going to save his child.”
The mother expressed gratitude that state troopers intervened. “It’s by the grace of God the 6 state troopers followed him to the gas station and that they were able to make an arrest of the kid,” she said. She then directed her comments toward the alleged perpetrator’s mother. “You need to be arrested for holding my kid hostage and withholding communications to 911 and not making sure she got medical care,” she stated.
The mother vowed legal consequences. “You have messed with the wrong family. We will take every avenue we have to make your life a legal living hell,” she said. She concluded by emphasizing the lasting impact, stating, “My child will never be the same from this.” She also said if the legal system does not act, “I will make this lady famous. And she will never have another normal day outside her home.”
