The footage shows the man, wearing a black baseball cap with ‘TURNT’ written on it and a dark blue t-shirt, announcing his challenge to drink until staff cut him off.
He began with a Long Island Iced Tea, a brownish drink with ice and a lemon wedge, which he described as “definitely strong.” The man then proceeded to chug the entire drink, appearing to finish it quickly. Next, he consumed a Strawberry Margarita, stating, “That’s literally stronger than the first one.” He also remarked, “It’s not going to take long for me to black out in this Texas Roadhouse,” after finishing the second drink.
For his third drink, a Jamaican Cowboy, he said, “Oh, that tastes like sh-t. That tastes like a peach vape.” The man then quickly consumed the light yellow-green cocktail, noting that the “buzz is officially kicked in.” The fourth drink, a Hurricane Margarita, led him to question its strength, saying, “I don’t know if this is really that strong or if all the alcohol is at the bottom.”
The Challenge Continues Amidst Increasing Signs of Intoxication
The video also captured him noting the country music playing, joking, “I’m about to jump up and start doing the Boot Scootin’ Boogie.” He then finished the fourth drink, reflecting on the restaurant’s peanuts by saying, “You gotta put your peanuts in a bucket now.” The man then declared, “I’m drunk,” after consuming the fourth cocktail.
The fifth drink, a Porch Rocker, appeared dark reddish-brown and carbonated, surprising him. “Ooh, wow, it’s like carbonated. I didn’t expect that,” the man said in the video. He finished the drink, stating, “My belly’s full of margarita and steak, and I couldn’t be happier.” He also called it “the only good one we’ve had” among the drinks so far.
Drink number six was the Original Margarita, a clear cocktail with a salt rim. After tasting it, the man grimaced and said, “Salty.” He then expressed a premonition, stating, “My spidey senses are telling me I’m gonna get cut off soon.” The man finished the drink, looking visibly uncomfortable and saying, “Sick. I feel sick.”
He then made eye contact with a server, worrying, “I didn’t have my sober face on. “This cowboy’s been cut off,” he declared in the video. He proudly stated, “8th drink down. We just broke the 7-drink record.” The man finished the eighth drink, concluding his challenge, and then announced, “I’m cut off and I’m going home.”
