A TikTok creator known as Amabar has sparked a debate about nutrition by comparing a single Crumbl cookie to a six-pack of Coors Light beer. In a video, he runs a side-by-side nutritional analysis of the two items, declaring one a clear winner. The clip, which has circulated online, uses data from the brands’ websites and a chatbot to make its case.
The video opens with a man in a car, wearing a white t-shirt and a baseball cap. He introduces the comparison by stating, “Let’s find out what’s healthier, one Crumbl cookie or a 6-pack of Coors Lattes. Let’s get into it.” On-screen text reads, “What’s Healthier? 1 Crumbl vs 6 Coors Lights,” alongside images of the beer and a cookie.
He then displays a screenshot from the Crumbl Cookies website showing the nutritional information for a “Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunk Cookie.” He reads the figures aloud, saying, “The cookie has 710 calories, 33 grams of fat, 55 grams of sugar, 104 grams of carbs, and 5 grams of protein.” He reacts to the numbers with an expletive, which appears on screen as “Holy s–t.”
A chatbot is used to tally the totals for a six-pack of beer
The video transitions to show the Coors Light website, which lists nutritional information per 12-ounce serving. The man explains, “All right, let’s compare it to a 6-pack of Coors Light. Their website here shows the nutritional facts for one can.” He adds that he looked up the protein content specifically, stating, “per can it’s 0.9 grams. And zero fat.”
He then calculates the totals for a full six-pack. The video shows a ChatGPT interface where he appears to input the data. He summarizes the result: “The full six-pack totals come out to 612 calories, zero grams of fat, 6 grams of sugar, 30 grams of carbs, and 5.4 grams of protein.”
The chatbot interface then displays a comparison table between “6 Coors Lights” and the “Crumbl Chocolate Chip Cookie.” Green checkmarks appear next to every category for the beer. The man asserts, “Thanks to our favorite sidekick ChatGPT, we can clearly see that Coors Light is better for you in every single category: calories, fat, sugar, carbs, and even protein.”
He follows this with a humorous remark about the effects of the beer, saying, “And let’s be real, at this point you’re 6 Coors Lattes deep on a good one and fully convinced you could single-handedly wrestle a gorilla.” A brief animation of a gorilla appears on screen.
The creator delivers a final verdict in the video
Returning to the shot of himself in the car, the man delivers his conclusion. “Therefore, after further analysis, and research, I declare that a 6-pack of Coors Light is healthier than a Crumbl cookie,” he states. He then asks his audience, “What do you all think?” A large green checkmark appears next to the text “Verdict: 1 Crumbl vs 6 Coors Lights.”
The video’s caption asks viewers to “find out what is actually healthier” and includes hashtags for Crumbl, cookie, and Coors Light. The nutritional data cited in the video comes directly from the respective brand websites and the totals were generated by a chatbot.
The comparison quickly drew reactions in the comment section. One user wrote, “I can’t wait to drink tomorrow I’m shaking with excitement.” Another commented, “After a 6pack of coors lite my drunk ass will be looking for that cookie.” A third person noted, “not to mention, there’s more alcohol in the Coors than the cookie.”
Some comments focused on the practical implications of the comparison. One user asked, “So what you’re saying is a 6 pack is a good preworkout?” Another offered a different perspective, stating, “6 cans of water but with calories. Yeah miss me with that trash.” A single-word comment simply read, “Beer.” The protein content of snacks is a frequent topic of social media scrutiny, as seen when a man revealed a Babybel Protein had only 0.2 grams more protein than the light version.
