Drew Sidora wanted her estranged husband Ralph Pittman locked up. The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star went to court asking a judge to throw him in jail over private text messages she says he stole from her phone and leaked to the media.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Drew filed the request in June 2025, months before she was ordered to vacate their shared home. In the paperwork, she reminded the court she has been a public figure since age 8 and said her career was gaining momentum at the time, with new music and several projects in the works.
Drew alleged that on June 10, 2025, Ralph took private texts directly from her cell phone without her permission and handed them to a media outlet before the divorce was even formally filed. She claimed the messages were released alongside false narratives designed to make her look bad. On top of that, she said he posted the texts on his own social media accounts in what she described as a deliberate effort to embarrass and humiliate her.
What Drew asked the court to do
The court filing stated that Ralph’s “disdain” for his estranged wife did not give him the right to publicly humiliate her. Drew asked the judge to fine him $1,000 per violation of the mutual restraining order that was in place, and she pushed for him to serve up to 20 days in jail.
The texts at the center of the dispute became a major talking point in June 2025. According to Distractify, Ralph posted screenshots on X of alleged conversations between Drew and former WNBA player Ty Young, with the two referring to each other as “baby” and discussing things like flowers and family. Ralph also claimed in a separate post that he had been “called a serial cheater with no receipts” while the affair that ended their marriage was being denied. Drew later acknowledged on the podcast “Reality With the King” that she and Ty did share some flirtatious exchanges, but she maintained it never went beyond friendship.
Ralph also went further, sharing what he said were texts between Drew and another man, posting on X that she was “dealing with Blakk sexually.” He additionally claimed on social media that multiple storylines from their time on RHOA together, including his controversial Tampa trip from Season 13, were fabricated to help Drew keep her peach. Drew has pushed back on that narrative, suggesting Ralph’s behavior is his way of auditioning for a spot on the show.
Where the divorce stands now
The divorce has dragged on for more than three years. Drew and Ralph both filed in February 2023, citing an irretrievably broken marriage. They continued living under the same roof throughout the proceedings, with Ralph relegated to the lower level of their home by court order, per Reality Tea.
Earlier this month, a judge awarded Ralph primary custody of their two children and ordered Drew to move out by May 31. She pushed back, telling the court she would effectively be left homeless. Her monthly income from acting, music, and her Bravo salary averages around $12,066, while Ralph brings in roughly $71,524 a month through his work as a client director at a technology company. A ruling on her request to reverse the move-out order has not yet come through.
This is not the first celebrity divorce battle that has spilled into uncomfortable territory online. In a similar story, an American YouTuber was recently jailed after mocking a comfort women statue in South Korea, a reminder of how public behavior and social media activity can carry real legal consequences. And in another case that showed how quickly a situation can spiral, a woman was threatened with removal from a Southwest flight after switching to an empty row.
As for Drew and Ralph, the judge has not yet ruled on either of the outstanding motions.
