A TikTok creator, identified by the handle @jusnene, recently shared a video detailing alleged threatening voice messages she purportedly received from another online user. The video opens with a woman, who has curly reddish-brown hair, a nose ring, and braces, speaking directly to the camera. On-screen text in the video states, “This Is For Educational Purposes.”
The creator says in the video, “This is a trigger warning, and I’m only showing y’all this because I want y’all to understand what I have to deal with on a day-to-day basis as a creator on the left, as a Black woman.” An overlay then appears in the video, showing a screenshot of Facebook comments. The top comment, from a user named “bcborncrazy,” reads, “I’ll still kill you if you talk racist.”
Other comments are also visible below, including “Does he know how many enemies he just made?” and “is the rapper in the room with us?”. The overlay subsequently transitions to an Instagram message request, which appears to be from the same user, “bcborncrazy.” The creator is seen reacting to this message request with a hand over her mouth, appearing distressed.
Details of the Alleged Threats Shared in Video
The Instagram message request, purportedly from “bcborncrazy,” includes a voice message. On-screen text prompts, “Accept message request from BC (bcborncrazy)? If you accept, they’ll also be able to see if you’ve read each as your activity status, and what you’ve read messages.” A voice message, purportedly from the user “bcborncrazy,” then begins to play.
In the voice message, a voice is heard saying, “Here’s a little suggestion, you f–king n–ger little b–ch. How about when you go out, you take your drink with you, right? You don’t leave your drink behind.” The video then shows an overlay of the user “bcborncrazy”‘s Instagram profile page.
The Instagram profile, which appears to belong to “bcborncrazy,” states in its bio, “BC 94 posts 5,819 followers 5 following Hip Hop Rapper From Jersey & Pluto Comedy, Audio Books, And The The For Dr. Paul bcborncrazy.com.” The voice message continues to play as this profile is displayed. The voice says, “because I highly suggest that you always hold your drink because there just might be someone watching you, right?”
The voice message further states, “And just waiting for you to just walk away from that drink just so I can Dip something inside, right?” The overlay then changes to show another of “bcborncrazy”‘s Instagram posts, featuring a man who appears to be him sitting next to a colorful clown statue.
The voice message concludes with the voice stating, “Nobody’s anonymous, and unfortunately you will be targeted, you f–king n–ger b–ch. And quit using bots. I’m gonna take your account down now too, by the way.” The creator @jusnene then returns to speaking directly to the camera, visibly upset.
The creator says, “Now people usually send me hateful comments, but my life has never been threatened like this.” She adds, “But I want to spread awareness just in case this man has said this to anybody else. My people like Jim T and Trev are on it, but I’m just spreading awareness.” The video’s public caption states, “its hard out here…#talkurshxxtnene.” The creator’s desire to spread awareness highlights how online threats can have serious real-world consequences, as seen when police struggled to find a missing woman because they used her filtered Instagram photos.
The comment section of the video includes various reactions from viewers. One user wrote, “him being racist but a HIP HOP ARTIST is wild.” Another comment stated, “police report in the works.” Other viewers offered support, with one saying, “Yall stop telling her to stop crying crying doesn’t make u weak it makes her human she has emotions.” Suggestions for action also appeared, such as “Contact the FBI, please!!!” and “Don’t cry report his ass.” One comment claimed, “He deleted his IG after he made an apology. According to the video’s creator, he got SCARED after they went to his door.” The comment suggesting a police report is in the works points to the potential legal fallout for online threats, a consequence that has also been applied to other online actions, like a man getting 18 months in prison for posting movie spoilers online.
