A woman identified as Jasmine ♡, whose handle appears to be @stargurljazz__, shared a video depicting an unsolicited interaction while she was cleaning her car after it had been broken into, according to her on-screen text. The woman, who was in Philadelphia at the time, encountered a man who attempted to use a “supermodels” pickup line. The video captured her visible distress as she dealt with the aftermath of the car damage.

The video opens with a first-person perspective, which appears to show the interior of a car that seems to have been ransacked. Items like a blue and white patterned tote bag, a red can, keys, and other personal belongings are scattered across the passenger seat and floor. On-screen text reads, “POV: I’m already in distress cleaning out my car after it got broken into, and here comes a man…….”

As the woman continued to clean, moving items around inside her vehicle, a man’s voice was heard from off-screen. The man said, “You know there’s no supermodels allowed in this area, right?” The woman, who appeared confused by the comment, responded by asking, “No what?”

Man explains his “compliment” as woman deals with car damage

The man then reiterated his statement, saying, “No supermodels allowed in this area.” The woman asked, “What does that mean?” The man proceeded to explain, “It’s a compliment. I was trying to say you was a supermodel that was being referenced, and it’s illegal to be in this area.”

According to the video’s creator, the woman replied with a sarcastic, “Thank you so much.” The man, whose legs and lower torso were briefly visible in the video as he walked past the open car door, continued, “But clearly I’m too average for your standards, so I’m about to keep it moving, young goddess.” He then walked away from the car.

After the man departed, the woman expressed her frustration and confusion in the video. She said, “But they literally— I’m just so confused. I’m on the phone. F–king crazy.” She continued to pick up items from her car, appearing visibly annoyed by the unsolicited interaction while dealing with the aftermath of the break-in. Unwanted approaches from strange men in public have played out in other cities too, like an Austin woman who confronted a man she accused of falsely claiming to be her Uber driver to approach her on a sidewalk.

The video’s public caption states, “Five years of having this car, and of course this happens when I get to Philly…” The caption also says, “All they found was pads and a couple cents, and the bums took my coat🌝” The post included hashtags such as #phillytiktok, #templeuniversity, #dirtybums, and #mentalhealthmatters.

The caption appears to indicate that the incident occurred in Philadelphia, and one of the hashtags suggests a connection to Temple University. The woman’s on-screen text stated her car had been broken into and that a coat, pads, and some money were taken. The overall context suggested a frustrating and distressing experience for the creator. The frustration of being approached by an unsolicited stranger while dealing with a stressful situation extends beyond this incident, with a North Carolina man in a neon shirt aggressively confronting a woman in a Walmart parking lot.

The video garnered significant attention on social media, with many users commenting on the interaction. Several comments expressed disbelief or shared similar sentiments regarding the man’s actions during the woman’s stressful situation.

Among the top comments, users reacted to the man’s repeated line and the woman’s predicament. One comment read, “😭😭 “No SUPER models allowed in this area” x2”. Another user wrote, “yo i would’ve exploded😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂”.

Other comments included, “They really know how to make everything worse 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂” and “He definitely says grand rising”. Another user humorously suggested, “i would’ve farted and said model this”. A final top comment stated, “that’s like the corniest shi ever, do they think this is a movie😭”.
